With debut Brighton performances from North-West London’s Ashbeck & El Londo and Oxford’s Deside, as well as standout sets from locals Renelle 893, Tokyo Jo and RAF, IORI couldn’t have launched in better company. More than selling well over capacity (you didn’t hear that from me), what was really touching was seeing such a span of Brighton’s crowds mingling together, from frequent hip hop heads to fresh faces. Though, in hindsight, this could also be because the space was rather cramped and we’d dried out the bar… Regardless, shout out to everyone who came out, hope to see you all again on the other side of lockdown!
